Cairo Metro: lines, stations and map

The Cairo Metro is the backbone of mass transit in Greater Cairo. It is made up of the operating Lines 1, 2 and 3, plus Line 4, which is under construction, and connects with other modes of transport at major interchange stations.

The four Metro lines show when the map first opens. The BRT, Monorail and LRT routes are drawn from their own geometry rather than straight lines between stations, so they follow the real alignment. Station names appear as you zoom in, to keep the map readable.

الخط الأول

الخط الأول للمترو، يمتد من المرج شمالاً حتى حلوان جنوباً على الضفة الشرقية للنيل.

الخط الثاني

يربط شبرا الخيمة بالجيزة ويعبر النيل بين الأوبرا والدقي مروراً بجامعة القاهرة حتى المنيب.

الخط الثالث

يمتد من عدلي منصور شرقاً عبر مصر الجديدة ووسط البلد، وينقسم عند الكيت كات إلى فرعي محور روض الفرج وجامعة القاهرة.

الخط الرابع – المرحلة الأولى

الخط الرابع – المرحلة الأولى قيد التنفيذ بطول 19 كم ويضم 17 محطة من حدائق الأشجار إلى الفسطاط. يمر بالمتحف المصري الكبير وميدان الرماية وشارع الهرم والجيزة، ويتبادل الخدمة مع الخط الثاني في الجيزة والخط الأول في الملك الصالح.
